Samsung Electronics America has launched its latest color laser printer, the CLP-770ND, for medium-to-corporate-size businesses. This high-volume printer can produce up to 33 pages per minute in either color or black and white, while providing continuous use with a 120,000 page monthly duty cycle.
According to the company’s press release, Samsung is committed to producing cost-effective printers. For example, the CLP-770ND can print from 9.3 cents per page in color and 1.8 cents per page in black and white. Additionally, each Samsung toner cartridge can yield up to 7,000 pages. The printer also comes with automatic duplex printing which cuts costs and paper waste in half.
Several features make the CLP-770ND ideal for a networked environment, such as its authentication and confidential information protection features which help protect sensitive information in a shared workplace environment.
“With the introduction of our CLP-770ND, Samsung again ups the ante in color laser performance, features and value. Strengthening our single-function color laser offering, the CLP-770ND will be positioned at the top of our line-up.” said Ken Colby, director of printer product marketing for Samsung Electronics America, Inc. He added, “We wanted to focus on flexibility and the CLP-770ND will allow businesses to start with a solid foundation and then we can tailor the final solution that fits their unique needs through multiple hardware and software offerings.”
The new printer as well as related Samsung parts and accessories are available through Samsung’s network of authorized resellers and dealers.
